Schedule 1
Description
Schedule 1 is used if you file Form 1040A and you had over $1,500 in taxable interest or you had over $1,500 in ordinary dividends. Schedule 1 is also necessary in limited cases that involve seller-financed mortgages, nominee interest or dividends, tax-exempt interest shown on Form 1099-INT, and the exclusion of interest from series EE U.S. savings bond (college tuition exclusion).
